No. Buddy Bites provides the equipment, delivery, installation, maintenance, and restocking at absolute zero cost to your facility. We handle the entire process from start to finish, allowing you to provide a premium breakroom amenity without tapping into your company's budget.

2. How much work will this create for my staff or facility managers?

None! Our goal is to eliminate breakroom headaches. For our micro markets and smart vending machines, we use advanced inventory management software to monitor stock levels remotely. For our traditional vending units, we utilize precise, data-driven route schedules. Regardless of which setup you choose, we handle all the delivery, restocking, cleaning, and maintenance ourselves.

3. What is the difference between your micro markets, smart stores, and traditional vending?

• Micro Markets are unattended, self-serve convenience stores with open shelving, glass-door coolers, and self-checkout kiosks. They offer the widest variety of fresh food and are ideal for secure, closed-loop office environments.

• Smart Stores are high-tech refrigerators with secure smart locks. Employees simply tap their payment method to unlock the door, grab what they want, and are automatically charged when the door closes. They offer the fresh food variety of a micro market but in a compact, secure footprint.

• Traditional Vending Machines are the most durable, classic coil machines that accept cash, coin, and card. They are the ideal, secure choice for public-facing areas, waiting rooms, or facilities with lower daily foot traffic.

4. What are the facility requirements for installation? 

The requirements depend on the solution that best fits your space:

• Traditional Vending: Requires only adequate floor space and a standard electrical outlet.

• Smart Stores: Requires floor space, a standard electrical outlet, and a strong cellular or Wi-Fi connection so the smart lock and automatic payment sensors can process transactions instantly.

• Micro Markets: Requires a dedicated, secure space (such as a breakroom), standard electrical outlets, and a reliable internet connection to securely operate the self-checkout kiosk.

5. Can we customize the food and beverage selection? 

Absolutely. We do not believe in one-size-fits-all menus. During our initial site evaluation, we work with you to understand your team's specific dietary preferences, schedules, and favorite snacks. We can incorporate healthy options, hearty meals, energy drinks, and classic comfort snacks, continually adjusting the inventory based on what your team actually buys.

6. What happens if a machine breaks or needs maintenance? 

Because we are locally owned and operated right here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, we provide rapid-response maintenance. Our smart machines and kiosks alert us to technical issues often before you even notice them. If an issue does arise, you simply contact us directly, and we will be on-site quickly to resolve it at no cost to you.
